Snowboarding. I love it. Droning. Love that too. When I can, I combine the two. I was lucky enough go to Leysin in Switzerland twice this year and took the opportunity to capture some beautiful alpine landscapes.
I was out filming at Abbotsford House, the home of Sir Walter Scott, recently in relation to an online course about the Jacobites I was filming in conjunction with the University of Edinburgh and National Museums Scotland.
I was doing some aerial drone filming for an American Property TV show called House Hunter's International for Leopard USA.
One of my biggest passions is snowboarding and winter mountain life. It's the best. It's also a great opportunity for filming some stunning aerials.
I was up north again doing some aerial drone filming around the Cairngorm National Park. Managed to get some cracking winter weather, long lasting golden hours and beautiful snowy landscapes. I was really happy with the shots I managed to get.
I was up north doing some drone filming of the Glenfinnan Viaduct and Glenfinnan Monument. Weather was a bit against me, however after waiting it out I managed to get a gap in the rain and make a short film of it.
I needed to create a aerial drone showreel so others could see the potential of this type of filming. Most of the locations are around Scotland, with some shots of the Polish coastline and Swiss Alps in there too.
