Etape 2019 | Loch Ness, Scotland
I was hired recently as an camera & drone operator for the Etape Loch Ness 2019 cycle event. A fantastic gig, very early morning rise and filming with the aid of some sweet motorbikes.
The day was made up of myself and crew (Liam & Mark) from Airborne Lens using the bikes to take Liam and I from location to location along the route, quickly grabbing shots on the fly. Set up had to be small so I went with the Zhiyun Crane and my Sony A7s. Each stop I took out my Phantom 4 Pro drone and the filming schedule was all about staying ahead of the comptetitors and getting the backdrops we needed to show off this wholly beautiful bike route.
Check out some of the screen grabs here. You can also see the main edit (by Airborne Lens) here.
