Drone Showreel | 2019

I am a licenced SUAS (drone) operator with permission (PFCO) from the Civil Aviation Authority. ETM offers drone operator hire, with kit, for aerial filming and photography. Naturally this comes fully insured, with public liability insurance.

All corresponding paperwork and safety checks are ensured. This includes: pre-flight safety checks, site surveys and risk assessments. As well as contacting the relevant authorities and obtaining owner permissions before flying. Safety is paramount in this game and I'll only fly when we're legal and safe.

The potential with aerial filming is enormous and the imagery achieved adds a level of sophistication and elegance to your production that previously took much larger budgets. Have a look around at some of my previous work. I'd be glad to provide aerial filming services for your next production.

I'm really passionate about 2D motion graphics. Here's the first of my 'opposites' projects

Free was born out of the idea of getting a bit older, feeling the strains of modern life, however still having the drive and the passion to get out and use skateboarding as a form of escape, pleasure and tranquility.

I was ecstatic when Jazz Scotland asked me to make some promo films for them and some of their highlighted artists. It meant combining three things I love, namely, jazz, the highlands (well, Scottish islands in this case) and whisky into one trip whilst filming some incredibly talented musicians.

Snowboarding. I love it. Droning. Love that too. When I can, I combine the two. I was lucky enough go to Leysin in Switzerland twice this year and took the opportunity to capture some beautiful alpine landscapes.

Finally got around to making up a motion graphics showreel! And here it is. It showcases just some of the work I've been doing over the last couple of years. Motion graphics / animation is an area in which I'm developing a wider skill-set, and more clients. I teamed up again with super talented illustrator Kimberley Carpenter (Check her insta @Thunder_and_icecream) to animate her artboard entitled "Powerful Little Storm".
